Night-time sledging: every Friday and Saturday evening from 19th December 2020 till 6th March 2021. When it is dark out, the funiculars will conveniently take you up to the Niederhorn either from the Beatenbucht or from Beatenberg. After 18.00 h, you can sledge from the Niederhorn down to the Vorsass as often as you like. From 18.35 h the cable car travels from the Vorsass to the Niederhorn every 15 minutes.
Those that prefer to start a bit more leisurely can simply book the offer "Sternenschlitteln PLUS" (night sledging PLUS) with a great fondue in the Berghaus Niederhorn. The modern dining room is decorated with sheepskins and a great view of the Berner Oberland landscape and invites you to linger. Afterwards, you can sledge towards the lights of the middle station Vorsass for 30 minutes. To round off this multifaceted evening, mulled wine or punch are served to you in the Bärgrestaurant Vorsass.

Synthetic Ice field behind the Tourist Centre is open daily from the middle of FDecember till middle of March. Free entry for Beatenberg guest card holders or locals.
Ice sports enthuisiasts watch out! On request the offer "Eisstockschiessen" is taking place.If you are interested, register at the Tourist Centre. If you like a local specialist will explain you the rules and show you some techniques.
Watch the farmer milking or caress a calf- all this you can experience on a farm in Beatenberg.
