Guests in Beatenberg are obliged to pay tourist tax. Tourist tax is used to finance tourist attractions and infrastructure (walking paths, playgrounds, swimming pools). Everyone who pays tourist tax receives a Beatenberg guest card. This guest card is handed out by your accommodation (hotel, holiday home landlord etc). You can also pick one up at the tourist centre.
The traveling by bus is for free on Beatenberg line 101, Habkern line 106, Libero zone 750 as well as STI line 21 till Beatenbucht with your guest card. You can request a list of all discounts from the Beatenberg tourist centre.

Tourist tax and cantonal accommodation contributions are calculated per stayed night.
Tourist tax for hotels and holiday apartments is charged per stayed night, including accommodation contributions
Tourist tax for camping grounds and group accommodation is charged per stayed night, including accommodation contributions

CHF 1.20 for children aged 6 - 16 years
